Some kids walk on their tiptoes like they’re sneaking through a secret adventure. Others roar so loud you think a T-Rex showed up at the session. Some are way too busy chasing butterflies to even notice me.. and every now and then, a superhero cape or a stuffed sidekick comes along for the ride.

I love all of it. The way your child,over (or the way they refuse to take off their Spider-Man,ask) tells me exactly who they are. curious and careful. Bold and playful. Dreamy and imaginative. That’s what I want to capture.

I don’t need them to sit still and smile at the camera. I just need them to be themselves. That’s when the photos feel real.

Here’s the truth: kids don’t need a script to shine in front of the camera. They just need space to be themselves.

I keep things calm, light, and playful. Instead of saying “stand here, smile there”, I’ll give them little nudges, like a game to play, a question to answer, or space to explore.

And that’s when the real stuff shows up: the giggles, the discoveries, the way they look at you when they think no one’s watching. Those are the moments worth keeping.
